Police have arrested two Singaporean women, aged 25 and 27, who are believed to have pocketed more than $40,000 in a series of cheating scams involving the purchase of iPhones and/or computers.

In one case, the suspects had persuaded a victim into parting with $24,500 on the promise that they were able to buy iPhones and computers from abroad at below market price and resell them for high profits in Singapore.

3. Nasi Ayam Penyet

Untuk Sambal.-kite suke! tp hati2 dgn cili tue. Edit ikut selera ye :)

* Sedikit minyak masak
* 20 batang Cili merah (lebihkan jika mahu lebih pedas)
* 10 biji Cili padi
* 10 biji Bawang kecil/merah, hiris
* 3 biji Bawang putih, hiris
* 5 biji Tomato, potong 4
* 5 cm Belacan
* 2 sudu Ikan Bilis-kite lebihkan cikit
* 3 sudu gula merah/secukup rasa

1. Panaskan minyak. Goreng ikan bilis hingga garing/rangup. Angkat dan ketepikan.
2. Goreng belacan seketika Angkat dan ketepikan.
3. Masukkan bawang merah, bawang putih dan cili. Setelah layu, masukkan tomato. Gaul rata dan tutup api. Angkat dan ketepikan.
4. Sejukkan semua bahan yang telah digoreng pada suhu bilik.
5. Masukkan kesemuanya ke dalam pengisar atau lesung batu. Kisar atau tumbuk sehingga separa halus.
6. Masukkan semua bahan tumbuk ke dalam periuk dan panaskan.
7. Masukkan gula merah dan gaul rata.
8. Rasa sambal yang terhasil, tambah garam atau gula merah jika perlu mengikut citarasa.* Sambal boleh disediakan sehari sebelum hidangan sajian. Simpan sambal dalam peti sejuk. Panaskan sambal sebelum disajikan.

Moussa: Israeli nukes, disturbing and threatening

Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa denounced Israel's possession of its vast nuclear arsenal.

"I wish to mention that Israeli nuclear activities are very disturbing and threatening to us," Moussa said in response to statements made by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Catherine Ashton on the alleged threats posed by Iran's nuclear activities.

"We should not speak only about Iran, but be unconcerned about military and nuclear adventurism in the Middle East," he added.

Presiden Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, kelmarin, menganggap serangan pada 11 September 2001 sebagai penipuan besar.

Mahmoud sudah beberapa kali mempertikaikan kesahihan dakwaan serangan keganasan ke atas New York dan Washington yang dilakukan kumpulan al-Qaeda dan menyebabkan hampir 3,000 orang terbunuh.

"Insiden 11 September adalah penipuan besar untuk menutup serangan ke atas Afghanistan dengan helah menentang keganasan," katanya.

Beliau juga menyifatkan serangan udara ke atas menara berkembar Pusat Dagangan Dunia sebagai satu senario dan: perbuatan kompleks khidmat perisikan.

Talabani Urges Riyadh to Halt Anti-Shia Remarks

Baghdad has called on Riyadh to prevent insult to Iraq's Shia clergy as protests escalate over offensive remarks hurled by a Wahhabi imam against Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani.

"Saudi Arabia is a land of divine revelation and prophets, a land which hosts the House of God, who prohibits us from dissension...You call on Muslims to put aside differences but from time to time voices scatter seeds of discord among Muslims," Iraqi President Jalal Talabani said in a letter to Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

Talabani censured Saudi Sunni figures' abusive tone against Shia Muslims in Iraq and elsewhere across the globe and warned that its "bitter" consequences "favored the enemy's policy of forging discord and animosity" in the Muslim world.

The letter, published on Tuesday, came after leading Wahhabi cleric Mohammad al-UreifiIn in his Friday sermon in Riyadh called Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani an "atheist and debauched." In his tirade, he also attacked Iraqi Shias, accusing them of conspiring with Yemen's Houthis against Saudi Arabia with Iran's support.

The Iraqi President described the remarks against Ayatollah Sistani as "painful and bitter," noting that the prominent cleric is a towering figure in the Shia world who symbolizes "tolerance, unity and brotherhood."

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Tuesday Washington and Riyadh are responsible for the abduction of an Iranian national in Saudi Arabia.

“Based on evidence that we have at our disposal, the Americans had a role in abducting Shahram Amiri,” Mottaki said in a joint press conference with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdallah Bin Zayid Al Nahyan.

“Therefore, we expect the US government to return him,” Mottaki said. “Saudi Arabia is also responsible regarding this issue.”

Amiri, a researcher at the University of Malek Ashtar, went missing in Saudi Arabia while on a pilgrimage visit earlier this year. He is among several Iranian nationals who Tehran says have been illegally detained by US authorities.

KETIGA-TIGA pesalah wanita (membelakang gambar) yang telah menerima hukuman sebat ketika ditemu bual oleh pemberita di Penjara Wanita Kajang, semalam.

- "Kami reda disebat kerana di akhirat, hukuman sebenar nanti lebih berat dari hukuman di dunia," itulah luahan tiga wanita yang dihukum sebatan mengikut kaedah syarak pada 9 Februari lalu di Penjara Wanita Kajang, di sini hari ini.

Ketiga-tiga mereka melalui episod pengalaman yang sama iaitu melakukan persetubuhan haram sehingga melahirkan anak luar nikah.

Malah, ketiga-tiga wanita yang berusia antara 18 hingga pertengahan 20-an itu sanggup menerima hukuman atas keterlanjuran mereka di dunia ini apabila menyerah diri kepada Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (Jawi).
