Female Solidarity in The Iranian Desert
Western perceptions of Iranian women typically revolve around visions of repression and restrictive clothing. Both of those are true to some degree, but as I discovered whilst exploring the desert city of Yazd, Iranian women are not only extremely feisty, but en masse they also wield the peculiar power to turn most Iranian men to jelly.
